In Aragon DAO we use a naming convention for roles. We do this to have a shared language of the different people, responsibility and commitments in the space. It also helps us to define levels of compensation and allows teams to work with clear and mutual accountability.
Discover these roles below, and then go on to see the organisation in Umbrella.
In Aragon DAO we are all apart of the Community
. Regardless if you contribute, get compensated or just partake in the Discord, the Forum, twitter or follow the development of the DAO from a far.β¦

First and foremost, we are what makes up the Community
of Aragon DAO. Welcome!

Once you feel called to contribute to Aragon DAO, you come across the first possibility of partaking: Becoming a Creator
.
<aside>
π§βπ¨ Creators
want to contribute to Aragon DAO. However they want this without a regular commitment or the need to contribute again.

But after finishing some bounties, taking part in work meetings and enjoying yourself, you might decided to want to commit more time and energy to Aragon and the teams youβre working in. At this point you might become a Contributor
.
<aside>
π©βπ Becoming a Contributor
means taking on a set of responsibilities and tasks, being compensated regularly and committing part of your energy to shaping the future of Aragon.
</aside>
From here, with recognition from the team, the value youβve brought the DAO and your own personal motivation, you might be called into becoming a Steward
of your team.
<aside>
π§βπ Stewards
are still Contributors
who also commit to guiding the team, leading the development of the team and become a paragon for Aragonβs culture.
