To make responding to new leads faster and easier, we’ve been working with GeleeRoyale#3228 from General Magic to create a bot that bridges your channel into your own Discord server. So, no more switching between servers to catch up with potential leads coming through Aragon.

7 Steps to build a bridge:

1 - Invite and give “manage server” permissions to geleeroyale#3228 for your server (you can also Allow manage webhooks so he can do step 5 himself- (these permissions can (and should) be revoked after the last step, it’s only needed to get the bot on the server)

2 - Create the Channel to be bridged between servers.

3 - Invite Bot to Discord

4 - The bot needs the following permissions:

• manage webhook
• manage roles permissions
• access to the room to be bridged

5 - Webhooks need to be set up per channel bridged (this will enable users’ posts to be posted from server to server a.k.a “user spoofing”)

6 - GeleeRoyale brings it all together and activates the bridge

7 - Remove elevated privileges from GeleeRoyale
