As community manager, what are your core responsibilities (a day in your life-explain)? 1st exp w Ayokiverse - community managers, POC for partnership questions. and cryptotech women contributor (focus on onboarding and finding their place in web3 space) - community engagement via discourse, answering q’s, welcoming newcomers, helping out community manager, organizing AMA’s, twitter spaces, audio calls.   2. What do you feel is the biggest value-add of your daily tasks? Direct impact on community, you can feel the contribution you have made instantly. Received feedback happy to part of community because of feeling of inclusion, questions answered/solved directly, grateful
  3. What type of events are you running and what are the most successful? 1st 2 communities mostly AMA’s and spaces, useful when lots of questions arrising from community, answer qs at same time. Crypto nomads dinners, people getting to know each other in friendly atmosphere, special getting personalized events, very positive
  4. How are you growing your community? Nomads organic growth but also via twitter audience and engaging offline at conferences, but community needed contributions from members (community gated to only nomads), focus on quality community over quantity

  6. What does your onboarding process look like? Discord general points/reading - automated. Crypto Women - community call, then Alima would help them find where they could contribute
  7. What is your onboarding strategy? No, but cryptotech women are developing one, adapted to community
  8. Is it different for devs vs community vs core contributors? Tech women had specific channels for devs, but onboarding was not dealt with different
  9. What were the most recent iterations to the process? Just started developing
  10. Compare the changes in the process over the last 6-12 months? Has not noticed
  11. What are your greatest onboarding struggles? Ayoki meeting, had levels/passports in community, new members didn’t understand these levels, due to no specific onboarding procedure, thus new joiners would join and get lots. Left to community managers to guide
  12. What advise would you offer to someone designing an onboarding process, 2 do’s and 2 don’ts - Very visual person, would advise there use for onboarding, as simple as possible - great for newbees. Should have onboarding that caters to all types of learners - visual, audio, etc
